ConsenSys has just acquired the team and technology of Truffle and added it back to its Ethereum tools. Truffle is a dApp development platform that originated from ConsenSys in 2015. The information is revealed by Simon Morris, the chief strategy officer of the firm, on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. The firm however has not revealed any kind of further details regarding the terms of the reintegration yet. ConsenSys Acquires Truffle As Part of the Product Stack Even though Truffle was spun out of ConsenSys in 2019 for a $3 million equity sale, adding it back seems to be a kind of reunion. According to the firm, Truffle seems to be the perfect fit for them that will obviously enhance its overall development. Tim Coulter, the founder of Truffle, said: “As the most popular Ethereum development framework, it is a natural fit for Truffle to be part of the ConsenSys product stack.” Moreover, the firm believes that the addition of Truffle is going to provide a range of services to the users of the firm. However, ConsenSys believes that the development team of Truffle is going to help the blockchain developers to completely enhance their experience by providing high-quality development tools to them. Truffle Suite Essential For Blockchain Developers Joseph Lubin, the founder of ConsenSys, has said that Truffle Suite is very essential for blockchain developers. The firm is completely exciting about this integration of Truffle Suite to their Ethereum tool and is looking forward to furthering developments. The developers will also be able to deploy blockchain systems across the different blockchain platforms with the help of Ethereum. The suite is having four different elements that include Truffle team, Truffle, Ganache, and Drizzle. All these elements will be working for better and seamless development.
