David Schwartz, Ripple CTO, has recently revealed that he lost $300,000 due to investing in cryptocurrencies especially altcoins. This came out when he recently replied to a question that was posted on Quora. The question asked whether anyone has lost their money while trading in Bitcoin or any alternate currency. Ripple CTO was among the different people who replied to this question and he claimed that some of his investments ended up being a disaster. Ripple CTO Listed Few Worthless Coins While replying to the question, Ripple CTO has also mentioned several coins that have proved to be extremely worthless for him. He mentioned TIX, NRN, KUDOS, DICE, FLASH, PRYZE, KIND, BEE, SIG, AMP, and VEZT as extremely worthless. Many of these coins were showing very impressive growth during 2017 and 2018 but it didn’t last long. At present, all of these coins have become completely worthless. TIX is priced at $0.001 currently and KIND is at $0.000997 which completely proves their worth and most of the coins are like this only. It is also revealed by CoinGecko that some of these coins are lost forever and no one can find them anymore. Not the First Bad Crypto Investment It is also seen that this crypto investment that Ripple CTO talked about, is not the first one of this kind. He has made this kind of decision earlier as well. Back in October, he revealed that he sold 40,000 Ether at the price of $1 in 2012. Not only Ether, but he also sold a huge amount of Bitcoin for just $750 which was another bad decision by him. He also mentioned that he is the kind of person who is a risk-taker and said: ”I’m just too rational to pretend otherwise and suggest others do the same.”
