It was called a strategic growth round by the company, and per a report given by Fortune, the net worth of the firm was $3 billion. The firm released a statement saying that it is greatly profitable and in addition to this, they said that the accessions could be right on their way. Peter Smith, the CEO of Blockchain.com, revealed in a statement saying: “With one of the most significant balance sheets in the industry, we plan to aggressively expand the products we offer our customers, grow our global team, and pursue M&A opportunities to bring exciting new products and ideas into the company.” The products offered by the firm include Bitcoin Wallets, crypto exchanges, and most significantly, an official analytics website. Verified User Base and Customized Fee Arrangements Having a user base of over 31M verified users, the firm also stated that they have witnessed a three times increase in the number of active users over the past 12 months. Charges on the exchange are layered with lower rates for bigger liquidity providers and additionally offering personalized charges settlements for its most active market makers. Along with that, the trading volume is also noticeable standing at around $38 million in the last 24 hours. The most significant addition to the firm is undoubtedly the inclusion of Jim Messina, the Deputy Chief of the Staff for Operations, during the first term of President Barack Obama to the board of directors of the company.
