The WWE is jumping into the NFT ring this Saturday with its very first release featuring The Undertaker, in a recent event. As announced, it will be building the first-ever NFT of the company displaying iconic moments from the legendary career of The Undertaker. WWE Launches its First NFT Featuring Iconic Moments of The Undertaker The four-tier drop will be taking place on WWE.com/NFT starting on April 10, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET through April 11, Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET. In addition to this, WWE is selling $100 and $1000 tokens over the weekend. Mark Calaway, or better known by his stage name, The Undertaker, had made an announcement in June 2020 revealing that he is going to retire. Nick Khan, the President and Chief Revenue Officer of WWE released a statement which said: “WWE’s first-ever NFT collection presents an opportunity to own a digital piece of history featuring The Undertaker, one of the most iconic Superstars in sports entertainment.” Nick added to his statement and said: “This will also allow WWE to deepen our connection with the WWE Universe during our biggest event, WrestleMania.” Wrestlemania 37 begins at 8 p.m. ET Saturday, with presence capped at 25% in Raymond James Stadium of Tampa. Moreover, you should know that the event is also going to be streamed on Peacock. As revealed in the recent calculations done by NonFungible, it was revealed that average NFT prices have fallen significantly. To be more precise, the prices have dropped by over 60% from the high they made in the month of February.
