Banco Azteca, the Ricardo Salinas Pliego-owned bank in Mexico is all set to become the first bank in the country to venture into Bitcoin. This is followed by the observation that more global lending institutions are planning to offer products related to crypto. Ricardo Salinas Revealed Banco Azteca Will Venture in Bitcoin In a Twitter conversation, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, a billionaire in Mexico revealed that Bitcoin is an excellent option in order to diversify the investment portfolio. In accordance with the billionaire, the acceptance of Bitcoin will enhance the investment freedom of the client registered with the bank. However, it is still not clear the form in which the bank is going to accept the flagship currency.  Well, it should be noted that Ricardo has promised that he will be releasing the further details regarding the same soon, and said: “Bitcoin is a good way to diversify your investment portfolio and I think that any investor should start studying cryptocurrencies and their future. At Banco Azteca, we are working to bring them to our clients and continue promoting freedom.”   In addition to this, it should be kept in notice that the billionaire based in Mexico made this announcement following his conversation with the CEO of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor. Michael Saylor Advises Ricardo Salinas to Invest in The Digital Asset It has been revealed that Michael Saylor gave a piece of advice regarding making an investment in Bitcoin to diversify his portfolio. In accordance with the affirmation provided by Saylor, the flagship currency is a means of preserving wealth along with stating that Bitcoin should be there in the portfolios of all the investors. Revealing further, Salinas mentioned Bitcoin as the new gold and stated that around 10% of his liquid portfolio is invested in digital currencies. Other banks apart from Banco Azteca, such as the Goldman Sachs Group, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley are also dwelling deep into Bitcoin-related services.
