Enjin Blockchain Joins the Crypto Climate Accord Following the recent debates surrounding around high energy usage from cryptocurrency projects, Enjin has turned its JumpNet blockchain carbon negative after joining the Crypto Climate Accord. Launched by Energy Web, the Alliance for Innovative Regulation, and RMI, the Accord is a private sector-led initiative to make the cryptocurrency industry 100% renewable. The race is on for someone like Enjin to lead the way with delivering proof of green NFTs while promoting standard energy and carbon industry practices.” Even before joining the initiative, Enjin’s (ENJ) said that JumpNet “already uses less energy than the average US household and 99.99% less electricity than Ethereum.” Enjin Achieves Carbon-Negative Status 9 Years Ahead of Schedule Going carbon neutral now means that Enjin has already achieved its carbon-negative status nine years ahead of schedule as it had planned to do so by 2030 initially. Remarking that the newer forms of technology should never come at the cost of destroying our environment, Maxim Blagov, Enjin CEO, said: “It’s crucial to consider our planet first, even while innovating.
