As it has been recently revealed that the blockchain startup will be adding the co-head of Morgan Stanley Tactical Value Investing, Pedro Teixeira to its board of directors. Discussing further the blockchain startup, Pedro Teixeira revealed in a press release: “Securitize is well-recognized for pioneering the securitization of digital asset securities on the blockchain, and for its fully-compliant and fully-digital end-to-end to the solution that enables private companies to raise capital, and for investors to find a path to liquidity.” Moreover, addressing the move of investing in Securitize Inc., Pedro said: “We make long-term investments in businesses and asset classes that are ahead of the curve. Secures $48 Million In accordance with the press release published on Monday, the asset tokenization outfit backed by leading crypto exchange Coinbase has completed a Series B funding round. Carlos Domingo, the CEO of Securitize also recalled the comments of Pedro and stated that the VC funding for the firm exhibits the surging popularity of the digital asset securities among legacy finance stakeholders. In addition to this, it should be noted that back in the month of March, Morgan Stanley launched a BTC investment product for its rich clients.
