Changpeng Zhao, the Founder and CEO of Binance crypto exchange has recently released a statement that revealed his interest in working with the local regulators for the expansion of the exchange. In accordance with a report released on Tuesday, Zhao shared a hint that Binance would take off from its decentralized perspective to finance and demanded the exchange to cooperate with the regulators in case the firm expands. Changpeng Zhao of Binance Demands Working With Regulators As revealed in the report, the CEO said: “We want to be licensed everywhere. From now on, we’re going to be a financial institution.” Zhao recapitulated that he might be willing to step down as CEO of Binance should someone with a strong regulatory background be available. In addition to this, Zhao said that he considers himself more of an entrepreneur, while an individual who is well versed with the regulations might be more suited to lead the exchange as it fulcrum to structures more easily understood by regulatory compliance. CZ added: “I’m actually looking for a senior person with a strong compliance background, with a strong regulatory background to lead the entire organization. I’ve led the company for four years and it’s good, and we’ve got to go through this pivot […] I don’t think I’m the best person to lead that effort. I think having somebody with a very strong regulatory background is actually better.” Huge Bitcoin Outflows Reported The on-chain analysis is showing huge Bitcoin outflows from Binance as it might keep the rally going and break the mark of $40K. In accordance with the graph shared by CryptoQuant, the crypto exchange is showing two huge outflows at present, one is over 10K BTC, while the other one was near 31K BTC. As it can be seen on crypto exchanges that the price of Bitcoin has surpassed the $35K resistance level and now it is marching towards the $40K mark.
