Tesla stated in February that it will begin taking Bitcoin for payment but then dissented in May. “Cryptocurrency is a fantastic idea on many levels, and we believe it has a bright future,” Musk wrote at the time. True believers, like Dorsey, stated they wish to minimize the environmental effect of proof-of-work crypto mining.
